Instantaneous Female to Female BSP Adaptor
Designed to link two hose systems, the 2.5” Instantaneous Female to Female BSP Adapter enables a secure connection between fire brigade hoses and threaded outlets. It features a 2.5” female BSP thread on one end and a 2.5" BS336 Instantaneous Female connection on the other, commonly used with UK fire brigade hoses like Type 2 and Type 3.
This product features a blank plug and chain to safeguard the hose from dirt and debris when not in use, this instantaneous adapter incorporates a spring-loaded plunger mechanism, activated by a turn handle, to ensure a firm and reliable connection even under high pressure. Crafted from durable lightweight alloy for Vigil Products and adhering to BS 336 standards, the adapter is designed to handle a maximum working pressure of 16 bar.
