Vertical Inlet Cabinet - Recessed, Stainless steel
Designed to protect the inlet from accidental damage and tampering, it also keeps the valve highly visible at all times, with bold labelling standing out against the sleek stainless steel finish.
Every building with a dry riser system should have an inlet valve located externally. The fire brigade use this connection to establish a pressurised water supply that can then be accessed via outlet valves positioned throughout the building. A clearly identifiable cabinet helps firefighters locate the inlet without delay while providing confidence that the valve has been kept protected and in good working order between uses.
Manufactured from satin-polished stainless steel, the cabinet conforms to BS 5041: Part 5 while offering excellent corrosion resistance. This makes it particularly well suited to harsher environments, including coastal locations where standard powder-coated red cabinets may be more susceptible to deterioration. Although the finish may not impress the firefighters themselves, it will certainly appeal to employees and visitors by maintaining the visual consistency of a premium interior or exterior.
The recessed design allows the cabinet to fit neatly within a suitably sized wall opening, making it an excellent choice for new developments, specialist retrofit projects, or as a replacement for an existing recessed cabinet. We're proud to offer a solution that not only enhances the appearance of your property but also helps ensure the fire brigade can quickly access the equipment they need when it matters most.
