Bib-Nose High-Pressure Regulating Valve – PN16
Often referred to as a PRV, it is used in high-rise buildings and large premises to enable a sufficient flow of water, regardless of location and fluctuations in the inlet pressure.
The outlet pressure can be adjusted between 5 and 9 bar, with a working inlet of 20 bar, even in cold temperatures. With a PN16 inlet and manufactured in accordance with BS5041 Part 1 and BS9990, the gunmetal construction ensures that it is corrosion-resistant, making it suitable for installation in demanding locations such as marine environments.
Featuring a PN16 inlet and a standard British Instantaneous female outlet to connect layflat firefighting hosing, this valve is found in wet and dry riser fire hydrant systems. Supplied as standard with a cap and chain to keep the outlet clear of debris, the hand wheel makes it easy to control the flow of water.
The bib-nose high-pressure regulating valve is commonly used in major industrial locations, including marine, petrochemical, oil and gas, aviation, nuclear, waste recycling environments, and fire and rescue services.
