Our two-way inlet breeching valve is an essential component of your dry riser system and is manufactured to comply with BS5041. It is typically installed at ground level on the outside of your building, making it easily accessible to the fire brigade or personnel in the event of a fire emergency.

Normally kept dry, it can be quickly connected to the water supply in your dry riser system to distribute water throughout the building and extinguish flames.

This inlet breeching valve can be installed vertically or horizontally and comes with caps and chains. It is a standard product from Vigil Products and includes two BS336 2½” instantaneous male non-return valve inlets, a 100mm PN16 or Table D/E outlet flange, and a 1” drain valve. The inlet breeching valve is made of cast iron with a copper alloy inlet, ensuring it is highly durable, and has a working pressure of 10 bar, which has been tested to a pressure of 20 bar.
