Double Fire Hydrant Standpipe

Our fire hydrant standpipe is manufactured from high-quality aluminium alloy and provides a straightforward solution for accessing water from a mains underground hydrant.

It is available with a double head, offering two standard UK 2.5" instantaneous outlets to which multiple layflat fire hoses can be securely connected.

The fire hydrant standpipe connects to the 2.5" female BSRT outlet of the hydrant and is only intended for use during a fire. It is supplied with a blank plug and chain to protect the outlets from dust and debris. The hydrant is manufactured by Vigil Products from aluminium and has a working pressure of 25 bar, tested to 35 bar.

Standing at a height of 930mm, please note that a fire hydrant key is required to turn the water flow on or off.

We also offer fire hydrant standpipes complete with check valves that are approved by water companies, preventing water from running back through the standpipe once it has passed through.
