Single Fire Hydrant Standpipe

Our aluminium alloy fire hydrant standpipe is a reliable solution to bring water from an underground mains hydrant to the surface. With a single standard UK 2.5" instantaneous outlet, it allows for a secure connection of the layflat fire hose.

Designed for use only during a fire, the fire hydrant standpipe itself can connect to a 2.5 inch BSRT outlet on the hydrant using Urban Round Thread. Manufactured with durable aluminium by Vigil Products, the hydrant standpipe is supplied with a blank plug and chain to protect the outlet from dust and debris.

At a height of 930mm, please note that you will need a fire hydrant key to turn the water on or off.

We also have standpipes complete with check valves available separately. These are water company approved as they stop water running back through the standpipe once it has passed through.
